Position Overview
As a dedicated Home Care Aide/Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing challenges with daily living activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with essential daily living tasks.
  • Deliver attentive care and supervision, keeping supervisors informed of any changes.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to ensure optimal care.
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Support clients with personal hygiene routines, including dressing, grooming, and bathing.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide medication reminders and respite care as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in personal care or related fields is preferred.
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanor is essential.
  • Ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is preferable.
  • For those working with young clients with autism, CPI/DSP 1,2 certification is required.
  • Must be in good physical health.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must possess HCA registration with the DSS and a past CNA license.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or rehabilitation setting is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Completion of a Criminal Background Check is mandatory.
  • TB clearance and health screening are required.
  • Full vaccination against Covid-19 is necessary.
  • Availability to work weekends is expected.
