Oversee the summarization and processing of cases for the organization, which includes drafting detailed summaries. Collaborate with legal professionals to collect pertinent information regarding specific cases and the achievements of practice groups and individual attorneys.
Engage with colleagues to coordinate and sustain the firm's experience management system, ensuring accurate tracking of case information and associating it with the respective attorneys.
Respond to internal communications regarding "victories" to gauge interest in media outreach and prepare work summaries for external marketing initiatives and surveys. Process these summaries and monitor attorney feedback.
Facilitate the integration of information into the Experience database from internal communications concerning case outcomes, summaries for surveys, and representative engagements showcased on the website and utilized in external marketing efforts.
Work closely with attorneys to gather insights on specific cases and the accomplishments of practice groups and attorneys.
Evaluate the benefits of participating in various opportunities and provide recommendations to relevant stakeholders regarding the firm's participation.
Monitor the firm's responses to surveys requesting information about its practices, offices, and attorneys, collaborating with other departments to track responses to non-practice-specific surveys.
Compose engaging narratives that showcase the firm's work and achievements, emphasizing the successes of its attorneys, firm strengths, developments, and client accomplishments. Coordinate the review and finalization of these narratives.
Schedule research discussions between attorneys and ranking publication interviewers as necessary. Draft summaries of these discussions for internal review and distribution. Manage client referee tracking and data maintenance, ensuring attorney approval is secured.
Coordinate and maintain the firm's various directory listings and profiles, including notable publications such as The Legal 500, Intellectual Asset Management, and World Trademark Review.
If attorneys express interest in securing media coverage for case victories, collaborate with the PR agency and team members on external media opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a professional services setting.
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a proven track record in drafting case summaries, press releases, and developing practice capability materials.
Proficiency in Windows-based word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
