Job Summary

The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a comprehensive, 90-day program designed to equip a manager with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully run a T-Mobile Premium Retail Store. The program focuses on immersing the manager in all aspects of store operations, including guest services, sales, profitability, merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and operating costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all guest services, store operations, sales, profitability, merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and operating costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Associates, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment that supports MobileOne's values and promotes a culture of excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date on rapidly evolving T-Mobile technology and ensure that Sales Associates are informed about new products and offerings.
  • Utilize tools and resources to grow internal talent and build skills and successes through continued coaching and performance assessment conversations.
  • Drive operational efficiencies to minimize risk and protect the store's assets.
Requirements
  • One year previous management experience in retail, preferably in wireless.
  • Ability to lead and coach to deliver financial results.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
  • A high-school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of T-Mobile products, services, policies, systems, etc.
  • Basic Microsoft Office suite and G-suite abilities.
  • Effective communication in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to train others on the sales process and adapt to the needs of the Mobile Expert's learning style.
  • Be able to deliver both positive and constructive feedback in a productive manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all store sales/operations to best manage and address Mobile Experts' questions.
  • Be able to explain Mobile Expert pay thoroughly and accurately.
  • Recruit, interview, and retain staff.

Pay Range

$21.90 - $49.98 per hour

The pay range above represents hourly wage and potential store bonus.
