Job Summary:

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Room setting.
  • Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment plans.
  • Review orders and test results, and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
  • Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience and successful critical care experience and completion of a critical care training program preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Department preferred.
  • Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of WBMC Medication test.
  • Successful completion of unit-specific test.
  • Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Current Florida RN License.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association).
  • TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred.
