Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at West Boca Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and pediatric patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Direct and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patients.
- Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience and successful critical care experience and completion of a critical care training program preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Department preferred.
- Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successful completion of WBMC Medication test.
- Successful completion of unit-specific test.
- Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit.
Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:
- Current Florida RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association).
- TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred.
