About the Position:

We are seeking a qualified Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of traveling professionals. Focus Staff is a reputable healthcare staffing agency that has been providing top-notch services for over a decade. Job Summary:
A Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy and standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN and possess excellent communication and listening skills. They will be a team player with a willingness to assist others when needed and maintain a positive attitude towards work and others.

About the Role:
As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner. You will work collaboratively with medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans, manage both emotional and physical patients, and assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Sing clinical reasoning to develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care
  • Managing both emotional and physical patients
  • Assessing patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education
  • Working collaboratively with medical staff
  • Providing quality care in a compassionate and professional manner
