Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at West Boca Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that patients receive high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
