About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Referral Services RN to join our team at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. As a Referral Services RN, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless transitions of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Develop and implement effective referral strategies to optimize patient outcomes
  • Provide exceptional patient and family-centered care, addressing emotional, ethical, and spiritual needs in addition to physical needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, professionalism, and respect within the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
  • Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, with permanent license obtained within 90 days
  • Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements
  • Other credentials and certifications as defined by unit/service line
