Safety Coordinator Job Summary

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority is seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for reducing risk and creating a safer environment for our personnel, the general public, and persons with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct operational risk surveys to identify safety and ADA-related issues
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies and recommend remedies to reduce risk
  • Develop and implement safety programs, including hazard communication, personal protective equipment, and control of hazardous energy
  • Provide training and guidance on regulatory changes and safety procedures
  • Conduct air and noise sampling, ergonomic assessments, and other safety-related activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in safety management or related field
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Valid CLASS D Driver License
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4 to 7 years of related experience
  • Certified Safety Professional
