Position Overview
This role is integral to supporting the systems engineering and architectural designs of our aerospace programs. You will engage in developing innovative designs, methodologies, and solutions to tackle complex engineering challenges. Your responsibilities will include system problem resolution, data analysis, and performance assessment. You will utilize systems engineering principles to transform customer requirements into comprehensive system solutions that respect technical, scheduling, and budgetary constraints.Key Responsibilities
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting engineering design evaluations to confirm the validity of proposed designs.
  • Delivering timely and precise updates to both internal and external stakeholders regarding status, issues, and risks.
  • Offering insightful recommendations for effective system and subsystem design.
  • Leading the definition, flow down, and traceability of system requirements.
  • Participating in architecture development and resolving complex system issues for advanced software-defined multifunction mission systems.
  • Collaborating within a technical team environment alongside software, network, and systems engineers.
  • Creating detailed design specifications suitable for efficient hardware/software/firmware implementation and network deployment.
  • Working with cross-functional teams to achieve intelligent designs that fulfill customer expectations.
  • Assisting with large-scale system architecture implementation and operational support.
  • Troubleshooting and devising solutions for intricate problems encountered during the program lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Systems, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering.
  • Cross-disciplinary knowledge in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software domains.
  • Experience in spacecraft design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills on large-scale information systems.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

While executing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to communicate effectively. The employee often needs to use hands or fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls. Prolonged periods in a stationary position at a desk entering data into a computer are common. The employee may occasionally need to move, position themselves, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
Salary Range
$125,000 - $140,000.00

Innoflight considers various factors when extending an offer, including the role's responsibilities, a candidate's experience, education, and key skills. Employees may also be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company success.
