Role: Senior Reliability Systems Engineer
Duration: 12+ months Contract

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Reliability Systems Engineer will:

  • Utilize extensive technical expertise to lead systems engineering efforts across various phases of product development.
  • Manage the verification and traceability of product requirements and specifications for new hardware and software.
  • Assist in planning and executing product validation while analyzing and reporting on reliability and durability verification activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers, to achieve verification objectives.
  • Act as a leader in technical excellence and contribute to continuous improvement within the Systems Engineering function.
Expectations for Success

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A deep understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Significant experience in implementing Systems Engineering best practices.
  • Proficient knowledge in Reliability & Verification Engineering.
  • Efficiency in leading system verification, validation planning, and reliability testing.
  • Ability to resolve technical challenges and manage risks associated with new product introductions.
  • Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies.
Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong communication skills to influence across various disciplines.
  • A solid technical background in Systems Engineering, particularly in medical device development.
  • Experience with Reliability Engineering and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, Project Management, and Failure Modes Effects Analysis.
  • Experience with DFSS principles and statistical test design.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as OrCad, Solidworks, or Cadence is advantageous.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
