Job Summary:

Mission Focused Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Model-Based Systems Engineer to support the development of networks, infrastructure, data architecture, tools, and analytics for the Naval Operational Architecture (NOA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to support system design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply MBSE principles to support system design, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
  • Develop and maintain system models using SysML or UML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system interoperability.
  • Produce reports to support management of MBSE activities and decision-making.
  • Implement a model-based culture, leveraging digital enterprise environment infrastructure.
  • Utilize model data to enable creation of a digital thread across engineering disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, operations research, or other sciences requiring advanced math skills.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in MBSE.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience providing functional knowledge and technical support for developing enterprise architecture.
  • Experience tracking cybersecurity implementation across the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Experience monitoring cybersecurity technical approaches to ensure consistency with IA TA objectives.
  • Experience developing engineering technical reports, analysis, briefings, and meeting minutes.
  • Experience tracking and documenting cybersecurity evaluations throughout the engineering, procurement, certification, and sustainment phases of acquisition.
  • Experience modifying and maintaining cybersecurity System and SoS engineering technical reports, analysis, briefings, and meeting minutes.
  • Experience identifying risks associated with the development of enterprise architectures to address system of system cybersecurity designs.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Eligibility for a Top-Secret Clearance with a successful background investigation.
