Position Overview

The Client Services Associate plays a crucial role in performing a range of teller, administrative, and clerical tasks. This position requires frequent interaction with both external and internal stakeholders while managing diverse records and filing systems. Confidentiality is paramount, and the role may involve handling sensitive situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and maintain member accounts with precision
  • Efficiently process teller transactions
  • Follow established cash handling and balancing protocols
  • Prepare daily corporate deposits
  • Conduct various administrative tasks, including answering calls, typing, and filing
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Comply with all branch policies and procedures
Additional Duties
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as attending meetings and generating reports
  • Support branch staff with special projects as required
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in handling monetary transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet software, and other relevant applications
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, and write routine correspondence
  • Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers and colleagues
  • Mathematical proficiency for basic calculations and data interpretation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems in standardized situations
  • Strong customer service orientation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in banking or finance
  • Experience in cash handling and customer service
