Job Summary

The Team Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position involves serving as a liaison between Team Members and management, receiving and effectively handling concerns and escalating issues to the appropriate level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor and lead by example to create a positive working environment.
  • Assist in resolving Team Member concerns and gauge morale on a daily basis.
  • Ensure management is aware of issues and concerns by communicating daily with the Team Relations Manager.
  • Ensure uniform application of MNAe policies through internal audits and investigations.
  • Advocate for fair and consistent treatment of all Team Members.
  • Provide guidance and support to department management teams when addressing attendance, work performance, or behavior issues.
  • Serve as a liaison to acquire information for Team Members or arrange meetings with appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in training Team Members and management on company policies and procedures.
  • Creates and presents various presentations and reports as requested.
  • Assist with administrative tasks.
  • Adhere to and interpret MNAe policy, which may include conducting training.
  • Comply with and promote safety in the workplace.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 or more years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to conduct legally defensible investigations leading to a resolution of employee complaints.
  • Ability to interpret company policies and procedures and ensure fair and consistent administration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR)

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None required

Working Conditions:

  • Spends 20% of time in the office and 80% on the production floor (climate controlled)
  • Works an 8-hour shift that could include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
