Premier Solutions HI, LLC is seeking a dedicated System Administrator / Training and Support Specialist to enhance our operations in the San Diego region. This role is essential for assisting end users in effectively integrating the FACET system into their daily workflows, ensuring that all documents are securely archived in the ashore repository.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform technical tasks such as creating scripts for software installations, revising installation protocols, conducting tests, and managing ghost images and networking tasks.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and support at the FACET system's physical location.
  • Facilitate training sessions on FACET and FIAR for diverse group sizes at their preferred locations.
  • Provide assistance through in-person visits, email, or phone communications.
  • Maintain and update the support database consistently.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is signed off during onsite visits.
  • Demonstrate self-management and initiative to complete tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct impromptu demonstrations or briefings on the FACET system.
  • Exhibit familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in both physical and telephonic interactions, reflecting the values of Premier Solutions.
  • Be available during weekdays to respond to client support inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT networking, with a preference for demonstrated training and customer service experience.

Certifications

  • Preferred certifications include Server+, Network+, MCITP, MCSA, or CCNA.

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient technical skills in Windows, OS, Server, and Networking.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and U.S. Passport.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for periods of 1-2 weeks as required.
  • Proven experience in training and customer service within the IT sector.
  • Aptitude for delivering professional presentations to executive-level audiences.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and take initiative confidently.
  • Capability to collaborate within a team to achieve project objectives.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in Navy S1, S2, S6, or S8 (CS / LS) roles, particularly in Logistics.
  • Familiarity with ATO and RMF processes is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead a team with minimal supervision.
