Job Summary

As a Front Desk Agent at Residence Inn Houston Downtown/Convention Center, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay for our guests. This includes greeting and registering guests, handling room reservations, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Room Reservations: Manage room reservations, including checking guests in and out, and handling any changes or cancellations.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve any issues that may arise during a guest's stay, ensuring their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong knowledge of hotel operations, including room types, rates, and policies. Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Possess a positive and upbeat personality, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
