Position Overview:

As a Security Operations Specialist, you will uphold all regulations to guarantee a secure, equitable, and effective operation of our facilities, while delivering outstanding guest service throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be strategically stationed at the facility's main access points around the clock to monitor guests entering and exiting the premises.
  • Verify the identification of individuals accessing the venue in accordance with state regulations.
  • Oversee the Security Dispatch Center continuously. Officers assigned to this role will manage phone inquiries, monitor all radio communications across departments, supervise surveillance feeds (non-gaming areas), and coordinate responses with Surveillance, Fire/EMS, Police, and other units.
  • Maintain a CAD (computer-aided dispatch) log for all service requests.
  • Manage the Card and Destruction Room daily. Officers in this area will inspect and cancel all cards and dice removed from the gaming floor, maintaining records of all visitors, staff, and inventory entering the room.
  • Operate the Badging Office, creating and modifying access badges for employees, vendors, and guests. Keep accurate logs for the CAD system and monitor surveillance cameras (non-gaming areas).
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all Bally's facilities.
  • Assist guests by providing information and services or directing them to the appropriate resources for help.
  • May patrol parking areas, valet services, and the exterior of the venue, as well as manage employee badge distribution and temporary badge issuance.
  • Report any observations of hazardous, dangerous, or unsafe conditions that could pose risks to guests or staff to security personnel immediately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading and writing English.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Licensing Requirements:
  • Gaming License from the Department of Business Regulations.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Valid Driver's License.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk long distances, climb, carry items, hear, bend, and stoop.
  • Manual dexterity to follow instructions and adhere to details.
  • Regular use of hand-eye coordination.
Working Environment:
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and conditions including wet, dry, dirty, and smoky environments.
  • Rotating shifts.
  • Interaction with potentially volatile individuals.
  • Work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
