Role Purpose:

The Financial Analyst II plays a crucial role in executing professional financial tasks that support various accounting operations. This position involves assisting with the month-end financial close process and ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute month-end closing activities for multiple operational units to guarantee precision.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts and address outstanding items.
  • Facilitate month-end consolidated reporting.
  • Support audit processes and respond to ad-hoc inquiries.
Work Environment:
  • This position offers a hybrid work model.
  • Office-based environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail, along with effective planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Able to work efficiently amidst interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
  • Capacity to handle confidential or sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team setting.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Certifications:
  • CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent extended periods of sitting while using a computer.
  • Regular use of hands for typing and operating office equipment.
