Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care support to individuals served
  • Guide and support staff to ensure exceptional care
  • Manage petty cash funds and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee staff scheduling and allocation to ensure optimal care
  • Collect and enter PSR compliance data
  • Enter individual served data into electronic health systems
  • Plan and create activities for individuals served
  • Develop milieu support materials and schedules
  • Work with individuals with moderate to severe challenging behaviors
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Direct Support Professional Year 1 Certification within 1 year of employment
  • Direct Support Professional Year 2 Certification within 2 years of employment
  • Administration certification through the State of California, Community Care Licensing Division
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Proficiency using Word and Excel
Experience:

A minimum of 12-months experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities. 2 years of experience and prior supervisory/lead staff experience in developmental services highly preferred.

Compensation is $20-$21/hr DOE.
