Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Park 88 apartments in Thornton, CO. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our community at all times. This includes maintaining a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general repairs to apartments and common areas, including vacant apartment preparation, trash removal, and emergency repairs.
  • Communicate with residents on pending items or the status of service requests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests, expenditures, and apartment make-ready status.
  • Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule.
  • Rake, sweep, shovel, and salt property grounds as circumstances warrant.
  • Change locks and keys.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent maintenance-related fieldwork.
  • Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with prospects, residents, staff, and management.
  • Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, swimming pools, landscaping, and cleaning.
  • Applicant must furnish their own tools and have transportation to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors.
  • Applicant must be HVAC certified and CPO certified preferred.
  • Applicant must have a CFC/EPA approved certification (or be willing to obtain within 45 days of hire).
  • Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb ladders and stairs.
  • Walk between buildings and on roofs.
  • Stoop, kneel, and bend.
  • Have hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Work Environment

40+ hours a week, evenings, weekends, and on-call hours are required as circumstances warrant.
