Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
As a Construction Project Leader, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing and supervising construction initiatives from initial planning through to final execution, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Conducting thorough project assessments to schedule deliverables and estimate expenses.
  • Coordinating with construction personnel and subcontractors, ensuring clarity of expectations and efficiency in operations.
  • Selecting appropriate tools, materials, and equipment while maintaining effective inventory management and procurement processes.
  • Monitoring daily work progress and performing regular site evaluations.
  • Generating internal and external reports regarding project status and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Negotiating contract terms, drafting agreements, and securing necessary permits and licenses.
  • Upholding quality construction standards and implementing proper building techniques.
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks while establishing quality control measures.
  • Leading and guiding the project team, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere that enhances team performance.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing construction projects.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead teams and oversee projects with a comprehensive understanding of the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and project management practices.
  • Strong expertise in construction cost management and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Excellent understanding of construction contract negotiations and procurement strategies.
  • Robust leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Outstanding time management skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software applications.
