About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at the Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE. As a key member of our Guest Services Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to VIP guests, ensuring their experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet VIP guests and provide directions to their seats or other areas of the venue
  • Distribute promotional items and check tickets/credentials for guests attempting to enter VIP entrances
  • Control ticket and credential access points, ensuring only authorized guests gain entry
  • Provide mobility escorts and general assistance to guests with disabilities, delivering inclusive service that exceeds expectations
  • Assist with information requests, notify supervisors of guest complaints, and help diffuse situations
  • Effectively interact with angry or emotional guests and team members, ensuring a positive experience for all
  • Ensure guests exit the venue safely and assist during emergency situations
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and regular attendance with good communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of grooming
  • Ability to take direction well and work well with others
  • Must be available to work at least five (5) evening events per week, including weekends
  • Able to stand for multiple hours, lift/push/pull 30 lbs, and work any position, including elevator shifts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of six (6) months of Usher/Ticket-Taker experience at the Microsoft Theater or L.A. LIVE
  • Basic typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
