About Ethos Veterinary Health Cardiology
As a member of our specialty team, you will focus on delivering high-quality, accessible, and individualized care. Your contributions will directly impact the health and well-being of our patients through:
- Management of patients experiencing varying stages of heart disease through outpatient consultations and ongoing diagnostics.
- Care for hospitalized patients, utilizing advanced nursing skills.
- Engagement in research initiatives aimed at enhancing medical knowledge.
- Support for patients with congenital heart defects, assisting in Interventional Cardiac Surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate appointments and assist clients throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with veterinarians in patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment plans.
- Educate pet owners on cardiac conditions, prognosis, and home care strategies.
- Employ various imaging techniques for patient and procedural evaluations.
- Assist in both outpatient and surgical interventions.
- Provide compassionate care and advocacy for all patients during their hospital stay.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely, adhering to best practices.
Work Schedule: 4 days per week, with some weekend shifts required.
Compensation:
- $23 - $30 per hour, based on skills assessment.
About You:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician; CVT preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Proactive and dedicated to contributing to the overall operation of the hospital.
- A passion for learning and collaborating across various teams.
