Veterinary Cardiology Clinical Supervisor

The Cardiology Clinical Supervisor will work closely with the management team to deliver high-quality, comprehensive, and effective medical services, ensuring an exceptional client and patient experience.
This role involves overseeing and managing the cardiology team, as well as being part of the hospital management team. Key responsibilities include scheduling, training, and hiring team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with 90% of their time spent on the floor and 10% on administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example, fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration among team members.
- Coordinate staffing to meet client needs and budgetary goals.
- Streamline operations and enhance service delivery without compromising care or hospitality.
- Mentor and develop staff, ensuring they have the training and support they need to succeed.
- Serve as a central resource for all departments, offering guidance and support whenever needed.
- Maintain equipment and service needs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Oversee appointments and manage clients throughout their visit.
- Participate with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments.
- Educate owners about cardiac diseases, prognosis, and homecare.
- Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient and procedural assessment.
- Assist in both outpatient and surgical procedures.
- Provide empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients, be a strong patient advocate during hospitalization.
- Maintain all equipment on a per-use basis, ensuring the safety and best practice care for all patients.
- Graduate of an accredited AVMA program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of two years' experience in a veterinary setting. Previous supervisory experience not required; mentorship will be provided.
- CVT, LVT, or VTS certification is always a plus.
- Must possess and demonstrate effective leadership qualities.
- Ability to promote effective communication amongst team members.
- Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions.
- Proven ability to lead by example.
