Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor is a key member of our team at Lightspeed Construction Group, responsible for overseeing construction projects and ensuring they are completed safely and to the highest standards. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating construction efforts, supervising construction projects, and maintaining the quality and safety of our work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate construction efforts through in-house and contract laborer maintenance
  • Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and project sites to verify safety and quality
  • Confer with Project Manager and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities
  • Coach workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, and safety procedures
  • Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support
Requirements
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
  • OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to work independently and supervise others
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of construction work experience
  • Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications
  • Underground, aerial, MDU, coax splicing, or fiber splicing experience preferred
Working Conditions

This is a field-based position, requiring flexibility of schedule according to the needs of the operation. On-call rotation may be required.
