Position Overview:

The Orthopedic Clinical Technician plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team under the direct oversight of a registered nurse (RN). This position involves engaging in various essential tasks that contribute to patient care and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care and assist with daily living activities.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.
  • Facilitate the transportation of patients as needed.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. Relevant experience is essential, with a minimum of six months in a similar role or an equivalent clinical setting.

Experience Requirements:

Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a Clinical Technician II program or have relevant clinical experience, such as student nurses who have finished their medical/surgical clinical rotations.

Certification:

Current BLS certification is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

All candidates should have completed a minimum of six hours of educational training pertinent to their current role.
