A Room Attendant is chiefly tasked with ensuring that guest accommodations, corridors, and communal areas within the hotel are kept clean and inviting. This role involves daily servicing of guest rooms in line with hotel protocols, replenishing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and restocking guest amenities while adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.

In certain cases, this position may also entail performing 'deep cleaning' duties within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related sector.


This role demands a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

Must be capable of conveying information and ideas clearly.

Must be able to assess and choose among various courses of action swiftly and accurately.

Must perform well in high-pressure situations.

Essential Duties:
Engage with guests and colleagues in a warm, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in line with company standards as dictated by scheduling, which may vary based on hotel needs.


Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms each shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including but not limited to preparing guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens for the housekeeping cart.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.


Deep cleaning tasks may encompass, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls/moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
