Overview:
Ensure the facility is maintained to provide a safe and clean environment for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Restock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may involve delivering supplies directly to room attendants.
Remove soiled linen and trash from room attendant carts.
Clean and remove stains from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
Flip mattresses and relocate furniture as directed by supervisor.
Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work regularly.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel experience preferred.
Self-motivated individual with a balanced demeanor.
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Must be willing to assist co-workers with their job responsibilities and be a team player.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisor.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, and the public.
