Generalist Administrator

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Generalist to join our People and Culture team. As a Generalist, you will be responsible for managing key operational and administrative functions while providing exceptional support to employees across the organization. You will act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, respond to general FMLA inquiries, and oversee the onboarding process. Additionally, you will manage workflows for People and Culture programs, accurately complete unemployment claims, and maintain the People and Culture intranet page. If you have a strong background in HR administration, experience with ADP Workforce Now, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, provide general information, and liaise with the payroll and benefits teams to address questions.
- Onboarding: Conduct new hire orientation, oversee the administration of the onboarding process, and train new hires on People and Culture platforms.
- Documentation and Compliance: Manage workflows for People and Culture programs, accurately complete unemployment claims, and maintain the People and Culture intranet page.
- ADP, Greenhouse, and Shared Drive Maintenance: Manage electronic employee paperwork and ADP files, perform data entry in ADP Workforce Now, generate reports from ADP, schedule screenings through Greenhouse, and maintain the People and Culture shared drive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR administration.
- 3+ years of experience with ADP Workforce Now for data entry and record lookup.
- 2+ years of experience with Greenhouse or other ATS platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with answering general FMLA inquiries is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, employment laws, and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting to change.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
- Collaborative and consultative approach to work.
- Capacity to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
Estimated Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
