Physical Requirements:
This role primarily involves operating a vehicle, including a tow truck. Key physical requirements include:

  • Ability to drive both short and long distances
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to endure extreme temperatures
  • Skill in maneuvering around vehicles and equipment in confined spaces
  • Capacity to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, or kneel

Position Summary:
As a Truck & Trailer Driver, you will be essential in delivering outstanding towing services and roadside assistance. Responsibilities include transporting vehicles for dealer trades, customer pickups/deliveries, and providing rides to service customers.

Daily Responsibilities:
Typical duties for this position include:

  • Safely operating a tow truck and securing vehicles for transport
  • Responding promptly to service calls and assisting management and customers
  • Delivering vehicles in a timely and safe manner
  • Maintaining accurate driver logs and submitting them to Human Resources
  • Keeping detailed records of drives and service calls, performing routine maintenance on the truck as needed
  • Adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
  • Representing the company professionally at all times

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience in towing or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Proficiency in navigation systems
  • Adaptability and flexibility
