Physical Requirements:
This role primarily involves operating a vehicle, including a tow truck. The physical demands include:

  • Driving for short and long distances
  • Remaining seated or standing for extended periods
  • Withstanding extreme temperatures
  • Navigating tight spaces around vehicles and equipment
  • Occasionally lifting equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Positioning oneself in various postures for extended durations

Role Summary:
As a Truck & Trailer Driver, you will be crucial in delivering outstanding towing services and providing roadside assistance as needed. Responsibilities include transporting vehicles for dealer trades, customer pickups, and delivering service customers to their destinations while their vehicles are serviced. A positive attitude and flexibility for trips and deliveries are essential.

Daily Responsibilities:
Your typical day will involve:

  • Safely operating a tow truck and securing vehicles for transport
  • Responding promptly to service calls and assisting management and customers
  • Delivering vehicles in a timely and safe manner
  • Completing driver logs accurately and submitting them to Human Resources
  • Maintaining records of drives and service calls, performing routine maintenance on the truck as necessary
  • Adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
  • Representing the company professionally at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess:

  • A valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in towing or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
