Job Title: Psychiatric Provider Aide

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Provider Aide to support our Behavioral Health Departments in Mount Vernon, WA.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Provider Aide will assist psychiatric prescribers in administrative and clinical areas, working with mental health therapists and chemical dependency professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment for clients. The ideal candidate will provide screenings and case management, actively participate as a team member in delivering client services, and ensure agency compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist psychiatric prescribers in preparing charts, prescription refill requests, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Ensure medication storage, maintenance, dispensation, and waste logs are maintained in accordance with Sea Mar policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with mental health therapists and chemical dependency professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide screenings and case management to clients.
  • Participate as a team member in delivering client services.
  • Ensure agency compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License from Washington State.
  • CPR/BLS card or obtain one within 90 days of employment.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division.
  • No history or evidence of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years immediately prior to being hired.
  • Washington State Driver's License required.
  • Familiarity with computer software desired.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a background screening.
