Salary: $71,384.77 per year
Job Description: We are recruiting for a full-time Mental Health Therapist position based in Lynnwood. The ideal candidate will provide mental health assessments in the Snohomish County region, increase access to behavioral health services, and carry a small caseload. This role involves virtual/tele-health assessments for Monroe and Everett.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload in compliance with agency requirements.
- Ensure agency compliance with laws, regulations, and contracts.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures as directed by the Program Manager.
- Educate staff on health service referrals and psychoeducational topics.
- Maintain documentation of health services and patient charts.
Clinical Duties:
- Provide diagnostic assessments and communicate with primary care providers.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for patient care.
- Use approved diagnostic tools to justify clinical diagnosis and practices.
- Refers patients to psychiatric services as appropriate.
- Provides consultation to Sea Mar staff regarding health and behavioral issues.
Education and/or Experience:
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work.
- Four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
- Active license from the Washington State Department of Health at all times.
- Meet criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
