Position: Receptionist

Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm; Friday 8am to 12pm

Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
  • Efficiently manage incoming phone calls, ensuring accurate routing and responses.
  • Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and through written correspondence.
  • Ensure timely appointment reminders and follow-up for unconfirmed or missed appointments.
  • Accurately gather and update patient demographic information.
  • Handle co-pays, balances, and deductibles with care and responsibility.
  • Provide exceptional service to patients and colleagues alike.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong background in Customer Service.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience or knowledge of medical practice management and electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Eclinicalworks.
  • First Aid Certification.
