Job Responsibilities

As an HVAC Installation Specialist, you will:

  • Provide support on HVAC construction jobs by reading and interpreting blueprints as needed by the foreman to ensure timely and quality completion.
  • Lay out roof penetrations and ducting, and sheet metal fittings as directed by the foreman.
  • Assist the Construction foreman as needed on the job.
  • Coordinate and follow job schedules, including labor hours and material costs.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HVAC Sheet Metal Installation Knowledge: Knowledge of sheet metal installation and piping of commercial HVAC units.
  • Knowledge of Plumbing and Pipe Fittings: Ability to perform sheet metal assembly and read blueprints on HVAC refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to Hang Evaporation Coils and Install Overhead Hangers: Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance.
  • High School Diploma and Trade or Technical School Classes: 4+ years of experience in the construction industry, and hands-on field experience in commercial HVAC construction.
