About the Role

The Vice President will become a key member of a private investment firm. This organization is driven by operational excellence, concentrating on the acquisition of middle market enterprises primarily within the aerospace and defense, healthcare, industrials & industrial technology, and specialized B2B sectors. They have successfully invested in numerous platforms, favoring firms with EBITDA ranging from $2-7 million.

Key Responsibilities

The Vice President will collaborate with senior investment professionals in various functions including investment sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management. Specific duties include:
  • Identifying and Assessing Investment Opportunities
  • Executing Transactions, Conducting Due Diligence, and Finalizing Deals
  • Monitoring Portfolio Performance Post-Transaction
Professional Experience & Qualifications
  • A minimum of six years of experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking, with at least four years on a private equity deal team, preferably with a focus on operations or credit/lending, and experience in the lower middle market is advantageous.
  • Two years of experience in Investment Banking is a plus.
  • An MBA and CPA designation are preferred.
  • A strong work ethic combined with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent relationship-building capabilities.
  • Demonstrated integrity in all personal and professional interactions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Education

A bachelor's degree is required.
