We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Baytree Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Veterinarians in the care of animals, including restraining animals when necessary, stocking examination and surgery rooms with supplies, and sterilizing tools.
- Communicate with clients (pet owners) and update patient files.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive client experience.
- Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and excellent communication skills.
- Be energetic and compassionate, with a strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a hands-on environment.
- Be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Have prior customer service experience and be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Have prior experience in a veterinary setting, preferably as a veterinary assistant or technician.
