Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm and attentive service to all patrons throughout their visit.
  • Proactively identify guest needs and preferences to enhance their experience.
  • Prepare beverages for both retail and dining settings, including batch preparations for the retail area.
  • Carefully package and present to-go orders for food and pastries.
  • Conduct sales transactions in compliance with company cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain an appealing pastry display throughout operational hours.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including pastries, breads, kitchen offerings, beverages, and retail products.
  • Address guest concerns with genuine empathy and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Complete all opening, mid, and closing tasks; adhere to daily checklists and side work responsibilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of all restaurant areas by following established cleaning protocols.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism and take orders as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 months of relevant experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast, is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in various roles within the dining and retail areas is beneficial.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the workplace.
