Manufacturing Operations Manager: Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of multiple functional areas within the manufacturing department, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
- Recruit, select, train, and develop a team of production staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are identified and addressed promptly.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, and to reduce waste and errors.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to ensure that production processes are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of production staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, including quality control and assurance.
