Job Summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CMMS Management: Ensure that our Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) are current and accurate, with system hierarchy, SLAs, workflows, and work forms established.
  • Physical Scope Verification: Ensure that the physical scope (Assets, locations) matches what is reflected in CMMS.
  • Service Order Management: Ensure that all service orders are accurately and comprehensively filled out by technicians.
  • Workmanship Standards: Ensure that workmanship standards are established and implemented for corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that manuals, standard operating procedures, methods of operations, and process workflows are current and available at point of use.
  • Training and Certification: Ensure that personnel are trained and certified to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • Storeroom Inventory Audit: Perform storeroom inventory audits to ensure the integrity of storeroom operations.
  • Performance Metrics: Trend, track, and report on performance metrics on corrective and preventive maintenance in relation to service level agreements.
  • Corrective and Preventive Actions: Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to continuously improve sustainment activities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to gather issues related to sustainment performance and drive follow-up measures.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Work with maintenance managers and technicians to ensure customer satisfaction and improve service levels.
  • Quality Plans: Develop, implement, review, and communicate site-specific quality plans.
  • Quality Management Systems: Develop quality management systems on projects compliant to ISO 9001 and CMMI standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School or GED with 10+ years of experience, or Associate's Degree in a related field with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Citizenship: Clearable US citizen with the ability to obtain a Yankee White and Top Secret clearance with the Federal Government.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Equipment Operations and Maintenance Experience: Experience working in a facilities management environment.
  • BAS Manufacturers and Systems: Familiarity with BAS manufacturers, systems, and protocols such as Alerton, ABB/Cylon, Tridium/Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, Novar, Carrier, Lynxspring, Strato Automation, Trane, Tracer Summit, Tracer SC, LONworks, BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/SC, MODbus-RTU & TCP, ARCnet, Profinet, etc.
  • Corrective, Preventive, Predictive Maintenance: Experience with corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
  • SOP, MOP, EOP, and Other Facility Operations and Maintenance Documentation: Familiarity with SOP, MOP, EOP, and other facility operations and maintenance documentation.
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance: Experience with reliability centered maintenance.
  • Service Level Agreements: Familiarity with service level agreements.
  • Training in Mechanical, Electrical, and Relevant Equipment: Training in basics of mechanical, electrical, and relevant equipment from a technical school or certifications received during training classes from industry vendors.

  • Finger Dexterity: Having finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

  • Communication: Communicating information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Reading and Understanding: Reading and understanding information and ideas presented in writing.

  • Speech Identification: Identifying and understanding the speech of another person.
