Job Summary

The Graduate Medical Education Administrator provides administrative support to the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program at Johns Hopkins Medicine. This role is responsible for coordinating special events, maintaining trainee records, and providing data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GME regulations and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collect and maintain trainee credentialing data to ensure regulatory compliance and integrity of trainee records.
  2. Coordinate special events and assist with recruitment of trainees to maintain a professional reflection of graduate medical education programs.
  3. Support all functions of graduate medical education programs throughout the hospital to enhance collaborative efforts with participation in meetings and house-wide projects.
  4. Collect and maintain accurate and complete programmatic data management to provide precise reports.
  5. Demonstrate excellence and integrity in customer service and regulatory compliance of all graduate medical education programs to ensure successful operation.
  6. Maintain current knowledge of accreditation regulations through conference attendance, reading materials, and individualized learning to assure continued accreditation and growth of all programs.
  7. Provide coordination for a targeted ratio average of administrators to programs per the current ACGME requirements for sponsored GME programs or GME processes at the institutional level.
  8. Consistently demonstrate organization's core values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, Communication, or related field.
  • 2 years administrative experience required.
  • Experience with data management systems/software.
  • Preferred experience with national web-based GME systems.
  • Preferred experience with virtual conferencing.
