Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Buyer to oversee our procurement operations, particularly within the LNG Pump market.


POSITION SCOPE:

The Buyer will be integral to our purchasing strategy, responsible for identifying, negotiating, and acquiring the necessary materials and services to support our company's objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Demonstrated experience in a Buyer role or similar procurement position.
  2. Exceptional negotiation capabilities and the ability to foster and maintain supplier partnerships.
  3. Thorough understanding of procurement methodologies, inventory oversight, and financial analysis.
  4. Experience with procurement tools and software is advantageous.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
  7. Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  9. In-depth knowledge of the LNG sector is beneficial.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a comparable role within the LNG industry.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make strategic decisions.
