Our Hospice Team Needs a Registered Nurse
About the Job
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice team as an Admissions RN. In this role, you will play a critical part in explaining our services to patients and their families, assessing their needs, and admitting them to our care.
Your Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to contribute to each patient's total plan of care.
- Visit patients and families in their place of residence or in the hospital to assess for appropriateness, explain services, monitor condition, or admit to hospice services in accordance with the admission procedure.
- Participate in evening/weekend on-call as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Nurse license in the state where the program is located.
- Bachelor's Degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year general nursing experience, Hospice experience preferred.
