Job Summary

The RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in the Medical Unit. This role involves directing and monitoring nursing care, serving as a resource for staff, and promoting a commitment to our organization's vision and values.

About the Role

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and quality care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care services and collaborate with subject matter experts to improve outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds, to enhance engagement and performance.
  • Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as implementing courses of action to ensure a competitive organization.
  • Manage staff scheduling, labor management, and inventory control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • At least 1 year of current medical/surgical experience and preferred experience as a charge nurse
