Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team at Agua Caliente Casinos. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for coordinating accounting office staff and maintaining the general ledger system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external requirements
  • Responsible for daily journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Manage inventory and fixed assets processes
  • Oversee federal tax withholding and payroll tax payments
  • Maintain daily cash position and monthly reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of practical application of accounting principles in the production of financial statements/reports
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality of all related information and documentation. Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 1/2 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
