Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology Department at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center. As a Rad Tech, you will be responsible for performing various radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly base rate of $42.20-$65.35, with the potential for rotating shifts including Monday through Thursday from 5a to 15:30p, totaling 40 hours per week. Additionally, they will be required to participate in rotating call duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Diagnostics Imaging management team, perform general radiographic, fluoroscopic, operative, emergency, and portable procedures.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting exposure factors, film, and appropriate patient care, safety, and infection control practices.
  • Utilize quality control and clerical tasks to carry out duties efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program is essential.
  • An associate's degree is preferred.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is mandatory.
  • A valid State of Oregon license is required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained.
  • Prior experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital setting is desirable.
