Physician - Women's Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our team at Women's Care, P.C. - Physicians/Providers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our staff, and contributing to the growth and success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and direct the care of patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for adherence to WC policies and procedures, as well as all applicable federal and state laws as they pertain to healthcare and employment.
- Utilize evidence-based medicine and best practices to provide high-quality care that is compassionate and responsive to patient needs and expectations.
- Prescribe or administer therapies, medications, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress, and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely.
- Round on hospitalized, antepartum, and post-operative patients, and as needed, provide midwife oversight and consultation.
- Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
- Maintain a moderate level of productivity and bill for work performed in a timely manner.
- Provide medical care, consultation, and collaboration, coordination, and referral services.
- Participate in the practice's call program, which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies, obtaining assistance from and/or referring to physicians when appropriate.
- Responsible for protecting Personal Health Information (PHI) and maintaining compliance with WC's Privacy Policy.
- Must be MD or DO board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Oregon.
- Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support certification.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure maximum productivity.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense and carry out instructions.
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
- Must be able to maintain proficiency with practice and hospital EMR systems and establish and maintain good rapport with partners and hospital staff.
