Your Impact:

As an Irrigation Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation of new irrigation systems and managing ongoing maintenance programs. You will also be tasked with repairing and replacing essential components such as pumps, main feeders, sprinkler heads, and timers, making seasonal adjustments as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Irrigation Technicians for the installation of new systems and routine maintenance.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of pumps, main feeders, sprinkler heads, and timers.
  • Supervise the preventative maintenance program for irrigation systems.
  • Adjust timers and sprinkler heads based on seasonal water requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including leaks and broken components.
  • Engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and support to team members in irrigation practices.
  • Complete essential documentation such as time sheets, work orders, and material requisitions.
  • Operate various landscape equipment, including trenchers and skid steers.
  • Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate system layout.
  • Install low voltage wiring and lighting, performing electrical troubleshooting as required.
  • Conduct follow-up services and winterization of irrigation systems.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in both residential and commercial irrigation.
  • Proven ability to lead the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with Landscape Foreman, Owners, Project Managers, and Technicians.
  • Proficient in operating equipment such as trenchers and mini excavators.
  • Familiarity with Tu-core and 2-wire systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for sprinkler system installation.
