SIGN-ON BONUS - $1,500
At SPIROL International Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our shipping and receiving department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our products to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipments of finished products to customers and miscellaneous items from the plant, ensuring safe arrival at the destination.
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the Packer job description.
- Ensure that all items prepared for shipment are properly identified on the documentation accompanying the shipment.
- Use mechanical and safety features of all equipment being used, such as the UPS Manifest System and Forklift Truck.
- Maintain the general shipping and receiving areas in a clean and organized fashion.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying issues and providing solutions to reduce cost and improve performance.
- Observe all company safety rules and regulations, reporting any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.
- Follow instructions from the Supervisor and maintain equipment in excellent condition to reduce negative environmental impacts.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively.
- Safe operation of a fork lift truck within 60 days of employment.
