Patient Service Representative

Job Summary:
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Patient Service Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service from the moment they arrive at our center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Exceptional Patient Service: Greet new and existing patients, register new patients, and provide information about what to expect during their visit.
- Schedule Appointments: Schedule patient appointments in person or over the phone, ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Communicate Effectively: Regularly communicate with patients, providers, and coworkers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage Patient Payments: Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.
- Provide Accurate Information: Provide patients with pertinent information about their next appointment as they check out.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer programs and ability to learn new systems.
